in my machine.
Then, a while later I purchaced and installed a DVD drive but I do not
have the symlink:
/dev/cdrom
I do have /dev/sr0 and the following output:

Yeah, I'm fully updated and still get this. Two tabs, resize, click

During install I used a custom partition layout and a separate drive for
/home
This was added to /etc/fstab but by it's /dev/sd* entry
on second boot the dev entry had changed and so I got fsck errors

OK... NFS mounts via fstab on boot fine in Ubuntu 10.04 BUT (obviously)
not if you are mounting into a directory contained in an encrypted home.
The encrypted folders are not available on boot when the NFS share is
mounted.

I am running Ubuntu 10.04 as an NFS 4 server and 10.04 as an NFS 4
client. I am able to mount NFS shares manually on the client eg.
