Public bug reported:
I have been running a stock Ubuntu 16.04 LTS with three monitors from a
single Radeon HD 7770 card with no problems.
Description:Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS
Release:16.04
After not having used my system since approximately 20/12/2016, I used a
simple script on 03/01/2017
I have also marked Bug #227705 as a duplicate of this bug as the patch
supplied in this bug seems to deal with the same issue and has been
patched more recently in Bug #799312.
Like I say, I'm not too sure if I should have marked this bug (222458)
and 227705 as duplicates of 799312 - as it appears

Not sure if I've done this right, but I've marked Bug #799312 as a
duplicate of this bug. Perhaps I should have marked this as the
duplicate, but I'm not sure how launchpad works just yet.
It appears to be dealing with the same issue however a more up to date
patch has been generated which works f

Testing 12.04 beta I tried to rip a CD (Helb Alpert - he's the king

How long do we have to wait for the fix to move through the system into
the 10.04 LTS?
I have a machine to build for a non computer literate friend, who I've
finally managed to talk into trying out Ubuntu. I intend on giving him
the latest LTS. He specifically wants to use this machine for managin
After about a month of testing this, I can confirm that the BIOS update
fixed my problem.
Interesting to note though that this behaviour was not evident under
Micro$haft XP Home. I wonder if there is a difference in the way they
handle key press duration.
