Upgrading to 1.187.20 results in missing fi
issues getting the computer to sleep,
and on one boot I the shutdown greeter kept crashing

Rhythmbox starts, it is not visible on the desktop, it's only if I
try starting it again that Rhythmbox becomes visible (and thus usable.

Erm.. Ive just closed Rhythmbox prior to closing down my PC, and the
music is still playing! Just thought I;d mention it. Alas, still
nothing in the logfile :-(

OK, I've just tried all this again.
First of all, I have reason to believe that this might be partly or
even entirely a display issue (ie: to do with how the desktop UI is
displayed)
Secondly, and rather bizarrely, Rhythmbox seems to be refusing to
create a logfile at all today, so no new logfile,

Hello again Charlie!
Can you tell me where log file is stored, please? I've had no luck
trying to find the thing. I looked in my home directory, and checked
for the 'hidden' folders, then I tried looking in /usr, but again no
luck.

I have a 16-character lastfm password, and when I try setting the
account details in Rhythmbox, (a) after a few seconds the window one
inputs to flickers and tends to clear all bar 4 characters input, and
(b) even if one types ones password rapi
