The problem occured to me again, this time on a different setup: dual
boot Windows 7 and Kubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot, so a completely
different kernel than Lucid. Ran Windows 7 exclusively for a week: no
apparent problems with the disk. My 2nd day with Kubuntu and after some
5 hours of uptime...
Another one of those crashes/freezes. This time not only READ but also
WRITE FPDMA queued. For the rest the same symptoms: System freezes >
hard reset required > after reset everything seems fine.

Although I've experienced similar errors on Natty however I don't have
the logs from those freezes anymore.

I copied banshee's output to the terminal to a text file and attached
it. This might provide more useful information than my generic
description.

Public bug reported:
When playing music Bashee just closes every now and then. There seems to
be no pattern, it can not happen for a whole day or multiple times on a
single day and it happens when playing different albums not just one.

Exactly the same behavior as describe by #2 So my chosen picture was
visible on the login manager but not when I click on "About Me..."

Just happened to me too. However after a reboot the messages did not
show up anymore. Where can I find these messages in the logs?
