I reimaged my install stick, then tried the installation (install USB -> destination USB) on a bigger and faster computer. It worked fine the second time. I made the first attempt on a repurposed Asus CR-16 Chromebook that had been upgraded to 8 Gb memory and 128 Gb SSD, and the second on an ASRoc
