Reproducible on xubuntu 16.04 x86_64 (reproduced on two machines I
tried). Steps to reproduce:
export PS1="\e[1;32m\u@$HOSTNAME \t \$()\e[1;36m\$(sleep 1)\e[m\n\w>"
Press enter
wait
Press enter
Ctrl-C
Press enter
bash will crash. My PS1 line calls (and forks) a little shell
This is on xubuntu 16.04 x86_64

It seems to happen randomly but frequently. xfce4 randomly stops
accepting keyboard and mouse input.
But the alt-tab window changer thing works. And I can click the windows
inside that animation, but nowhere else can I use my keyboard and mouse.
