That means that the newer versions of chromium are supposed to be
available for Precise.. So we can hope that there will be a an update

Why there is no updates for the Chromium version in Precise?! The
current version is ages away from the Latest stable version of
chromium?!
The latest version for 12.04 is 37.0.2062.120
The latest version for 14.04 is 43.0.2357.81
** Affects: chromium-browser (Ubuntu)
For me I find the solution, I need to delete the content of
/etc/network/interfaces (or just leave the lo interface in it).. After
that nm-applet will be able to administrate the nic interfaces.

Hey,
I'm using an USB headset..
Every time I click on the headset buttons Unity looses keyboard.. If I
switch to tty then go back to tty7 my keyboard works again..
$ lsusb

Hey,
I have the same problem here.. But not with XUbuntu..
I did a fresh install using the command-line option (in the alternate CD), then
I installed MATE Desktop, now I have the same error when trying to start
nm-applet.
