Hi,
Thanks for the response.
After removing extensions, logout/login and than lock screen:
- I see info about ethernet, wifi, bluetooth,battery, nightlight- I can
operate sound level and suspend computer
After putting back extensions dir, not enabling custom extensions,
logout/login and than lock s
Several updates later and vpn works again, don't know if something was
actually solved in one of the updates.

Me too, installed thunderbird-couchdb, after that found an option
'ubuntu one' in thunderbirds 'directory server' option, could also
select that, but the option every time bounces back to 'Addressbook'
and no ubuntu one contacts can be seen.

2 login
3 sudo -s
4 who => gives you displays for logged in users
5 xgamma -display -gamma 1.0

In my case, I simlinked /usr/share to /home/share, I had to add
/sys/devices/system/cpu/ r,
/home/share/mysql/** r,
to /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld

I too started using ndiswrapper, but still faced problems after
suspend/resume. In my case the solution was changing from wap security
to wep security. Also my connection is much faster now.

for my ar9285 (ath9k) card the problem seems to be related to
