Not merely a cosmetic bug.
It steals focus from activities being performed. The big issue for me
is that you can't create "dead space" to right click and make a new
folder. The Name column resizes to make the columns take the whole
width of the window, and thus there is no where to right-click w

Multiple monitors with different orientation leads to stretched
wallpaper when waking

I have three monitors all hooked up to a Radeon 6950, using fglrx. One
of the monitors is in portrait orientation and is a 1680x1050 monitor
while the two monitors in landscape are 1920x1200 monitors.
When I first select a wallpaper (say a wallpaper that is 1920x1200), it

If I have multiple gedit (for example) windows open, with some of them
minimized, and I click on the gedit launcher icon twice, it shows
previews of all gedit windows...including the minimized ones.
If I do the same with Chrome, it shows previews for all open Chrome
