I have a similar but different problem. When I lock my screen and come
back, often times the screen will wake back up, but the dialog that
normally appears to unlock the screen never appears. Sometimes I can go
into virtual console and kill the screen saver daemon, and get back to
my desktop, but i

I'm curious too. I saw a ppa for spice, and installed the client on a
maverick machine of mine. Didn't really test too much though, as the
only way to easily get a spice server going is to install fedora.
I'm more than willing to help if anyone wants to point me in the right
direction. I'm new to
Upgraded to the daily ppa as mentioned in comment 61, and it seems to
work fine now. I'm at 2.33.0~bzr886-0ubuntu1~daily1

So it seems like whatever caused this problem is fixed for now. I'll keep
testing future ISOs to make sure
the bug doesn't pop back up.

The debian package from sid builds fine on jaunty with only one minor
modification to the debian/rules file.
I can also verify that the debian sid package (11.5-2) fixes the issues with
uploading attachments to the wiki.
I'm new to packaging in ubuntu. Does anyone have a PPA for trac already

Oh, also, this is Karmic running in a virtualbox vm on top of jaunty.
And it's sun's virtualbox from sun, not the ose version. In case that
matters.
