[Bug 800140] Re: radeon: [drm:drm_mode_getfb] *ERROR* invalid framebuffer id

2011-11-17 Thread Doug Stanley
I have a similar but different problem. When I lock my screen and come back, often times the screen will wake back up, but the dialog that normally appears to unlock the screen never appears. Sometimes I can go into virtual console and kill the screen saver daemon, and get back to my desktop, but i

[Bug 723796] Re: Enable spice in kvm

2011-09-13 Thread Doug Stanley
Is this supposed to be fixed for qemu-kvm? Or am i supposed to install another package to get spice support? I'm running oneric and using qemu- kvm from the main repos, but no spice support seems to be available. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which

[Bug 500385] Re: [needs-packaging] SPICE

2011-02-28 Thread Doug Stanley
I'm curious too. I saw a ppa for spice, and installed the client on a maverick machine of mine. Didn't really test too much though, as the only way to easily get a spice server going is to install fedora. I'm more than willing to help if anyone wants to point me in the right direction. I'm new to

[Bug 524941] Re: Grub fails to install on Lucid guests running under KVM during installation

I just tested with the daily iso from yesterday (basically what will be alpha 3) and it installs 100% fine now. So it seems like whatever caused this problem is fixed for now. I'll keep testing future ISOs to make sure the bug doesn't pop back up. -- Grub fails to install on Lucid guests runnin

2009-10-07 Thread Doug Stanley
The "fix" seems to be use a newer version of trac, so I doubt it will get fixed in jaunty, unless some one backports the python 2.6 specific fixes from the latest version of trac. I can confirm though, that you can simply build the karmic package from source on jaunty and run that. A more likely s

The debian package from sid builds fine on jaunty with only one minor modification to the debian/rules file. I can also verify that the debian sid package (11.5-2) fixes the issues with uploading attachments to the wiki. I'm new to packaging in ubuntu. Does anyone have a PPA for trac already set
