I recently upgraded from Ubuntu 14 to 18 and now I can't use ulimit -n
to increase the allowed number of files open! This is a change from my
previous version of Ubuntu.

I can confirm having the same issues on my thinkpad x230 tablet. When
trying to set the screen to portrait mode the image only takes up half
of the screen instead of resizing and for me my touch inputs and stylus
inputs do not sync with the images. I also confirmed this as well on my

So this happened essentially from when I upgraded to 18.10 a few months
ago; now, after I file the bug, it's stopped happening. I suspect a

After upgrading from 18.04.1 LTS to 18.10, all reboots of the system
give a boot screen with the error:
"cryptsetup: Waiting for encrypted source device /swapfile..."
After a minute or so, the graphical boot screen with that message is
replaced with a console screen reading:

Lars, I went to sites like Gmail or Youtube that I thought had a chance
of using optional NaCl, but I haven't been able to reproduce those error
messages. I don't think Firefox supports NaCl, even with a plugin. Is it
possible you imported browser settings from Chromium and it happened to

Specifically, it's not an illegal instruction so much as a misaligned
(+2 bytes) instruction, plus at that point it's in Thumb mode when
anything inside SkJumper should be in ARM mode.
