Also, I'd be glad to do more tests if it's useful for getting the fix
distributed to everyone.

don't understand all of the discussion above, so I won't change the
bug's status. Anyway, I don't see such an entry as worksforme.

Bazon, If you ask me: Assuming that there's any point in filing bugs,
then I can only recommend you to file a new one. Include a link to this

When I hit Alt-F2 and type one of my recently used commands (e.g. "firefox"),
the auto completion mechanism reacts too quickly and I get something like

New discovery: Not all temporary icons cause the behaviour as described

Some make the icons shrink just for a very short moment when appearing,
then they grow again. If they appear directly after loggin in, when

You're welcome :-) By the way, the other bug (or at least similar
symptoms) have been known for a long time. See bugs #660972, #588783,

Ejecting with the physical eject button seems to work now (for me: on
Xubuntu 11.04 alpha1). However, CDs don't get unmounted properly, at
least in some cases. See bugs #660972, #588783, #510021.

I have the same bug on Xubuntu 11.04 alpha1. The weirdest thing is: Even
though the CD is ejected, its folder structure is still accessible (both
in Thunar and from the terminal, so it can't be a Thunar-specific cache
problem). However, trying to open files results in an I/O error.

Hmmm. I think we'll have to close this as invalid. I don't have that CD
any more and other CDs don't cause the crash. However, there will be
another misbehaviour to report: When ejecting CDs manually (pushing the
button on the CD drive), they don't seem to get unmounted properly.
