Just a stupid question:on my AB350 I have installed in the order: 1)
16.04.1, 2) Marc 10.3 Kernel, 3) Last version of NVidia driver for my
1050ti. That was OK
When I tried Joseph's kernel, it was after the installation of the
Nvidia drivers. Do I have to remove them in order to test that properly?
I tested Joseph solution on B350 Gaming 3 (bios F6) without success (stop in
the boot without message). I can attach the syslog part if it helps

Thanks to Marc, the sequence: install 16.04.1, install the kernel update
and then nvidia drivers, patched of course seems to work on Gigabyte 350
Gaming 3.
