I seem to be experiencing the same issue on Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS. I

I can also report that it happens with barely any load on the CPU and
50% RAM usage. So it does not seem to be tied to high CPU usage.

I have the same issue. Mostly, the touchpad works great, no issues, but
then at times, it becomes laggy, having a delay, so it is not
responsive, and I can feel it being sluggish moving the cursor around
and definitely losing the precision.

Public bug reported:
Hi,
I noticed that in xtables-addons-common package in noble release, file
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/xtables/libxt_ACCOUNT.so is missing (it's present
e.g. in focal release). Due to that the following command fails:
root@srv1:~# iptables -A FORWARD -j ACCOUNT
iptables v1.8.
The latest .NET 9 builds are now in this PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~dotnet/+archive/ubuntu/dotnet9-testing
- autopkgtest pass
- lintian output:

Graham put dotnet9 on the big_packages list, which helped with resource
exhaustion during some testcases.

I was too quick to reply. ubuntu-bug tells me this is not an official
package, so I cannot report a bug against it, even though it's managed
by 'Commercial Engineering '
according to APT.

It seems that the package oem-sutton.simon-aelfdane-meta adds such rule
to GRUB config. I guess it makes sense to report a bug against it.
```
cat /etc/default/grub.d/oem-flavour.cfg
