I'm using Quanta+ v3.5.8 in my Kubuntu v7.10 for web development and it
all worked fine since kernel upgrade to 2.6.22-14. Now, when I'm trying
to upload project to web server using Project / Upload project,
everything crashes

When trying to upload any project, Quanta crashes, and the desktop
environment crashes, kicking you out to the user picker/login screen.
Happens every time, even with "quick upload" and is very frustrating.

hidden file controlling NVIDIA driver does not get removed when switching from
nvid
This bug has been mentioned a lot on the forums. My ubuntu is also
crashed right now because of the nvidia drivers (no usable screen). This
solution was posted as a work-around:
