This is still present six weeks later in the 20.04 daily build.
Running this with strace seems to indicate that indeed the library is
successfully loaded:

for wily are available - so those testing pre-release Ubuntu can also test

I'm puzzled that this is marked as Won't Fix - the bug is clearly alive and

For example when running Subsurface (from our PPA:subsurface/subsurface - the
one that sadly is still in the Ubuntu repositories is outdated and broken) you
get no working shortcut keys if appmenu-qt5 is installed,
