and msn) and I got the same behaviour when I start empathy through the
menu. The status at the top of the empathy window turns to Available but
the contact list is still not rendered as shown in the screenshot.
Any other logs
Public bug reported:
When you update the the maas package (e.g. sudo apt-get update && sudo
apt-get upgrade), it wrongly suggests that you update your configs to

I had a similar problem when I did apt-get update && apt-get upgrade ~2

See attached screenshot. If you choose that option, the behaviour is the

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start the ubuntu installer from the CD
2. Choose Ubuntu MAAS installation or Enlistment

The test I did was with booting a VM with precise-server-i386.iso

rationale for removing the option so I'll leave that to Francis.

disk space and I keep getting the error message.

I'm having the same issue with Oneiric in a Thinkpad x61. It usually
shuts down when I'm watching movies. I did the workaround mentioned in
the description (set fan level to disengaged) and could watch the whole
movie with no shutdown. Fan level without level disengaged was ~4000 rpm

happens again, I'll update the bug details and reopen.
Thanks for triaging this!
