I don't know if thefirst command will apport benific informaton because
at this moment i'm using the previous version of STA driver (the one
which comes with Ubuntu 10.10' CD).Anyway when i executed it it gave me
this error:

I see that i can't find "about ubuntu" in unity,, in gnome, i could access to
it via System->About Ubuntu,, but now there is no trace of it in unity.

you don't need to install it each time you boot up the pc ,,, you have
to add wl to /etc/modules
1- run Alt+F2
2- type gksudo gedit /etc/modules
3- add wl to a newline (add after lp)
4- save the file and restart

I add this , when the open dialog is for seeking a type of files , it
should show the extention of the needed file (the current one filters
the files but it doesn't show the extention , which made the task
somehow more difficult and boring)

OK , I've installed Ubuntu Jaunty , and as usual , I install desktop
drapes ... But this time , it doesn't want to start, when I click on it
, the PC solws down , and the program doesn't want to run. I tried to
know why the PC slows down, I realize
I 2 partitions in ext4 fs , I rescanned that , and everything was alright ,
i think the problem was from the program (careful scan).

I've installed ClamAv , I started a careful scan of all my computer (Including
other partitions). The program took 5 hours to achieve only 83%, but the
program couldn't continue the scan at a word file of 65Kb (It took about 30min
so I closed it
