I use a Clevo M860TU Laptop with a Intel Core Duo 9400 and a Nvidia GeForce
9800M on Jaunty 64-bit.
The problem is that when I use the suspend, hibernate, shutdown my laptop the

I can also say I am experiencing this problem on my laptop using 64-bit
Jaunty.
It is a fresh install so I can safely say it was not any changes I made
which caused this issues.
When i shutdown from the command line or the menu the computer just
restarts.

I can also confirm this bug in Intrepid as muting and unmuting the
master channel does not affect the sound.
When the mute /unmute button is pushed the volume that shows up under
master channel remains at the same level, with a mute symbol yet the
sound remains the same.

I also have this problem with my clevo M860TU Laptop. It has the space specs as
sv2dgi except that i have an Seagate 230GB laptop.
I tried Hardy 32-bit LiveCD and it boots, but in 800 x 600 resolution.
Tried to boot 8.10 (Intrepid) LiveCD and AlternateCD, but I also get the same
rebooting proble
I figured out my problem. I had blacklisted ohci_hcd module and that was
preventing my usb devices from working. I took it off the blacklist and
my USB devices work, but b43 and ssb now starts and conflicts with my
ndiswrapper so I have manually remove them to access wireless.

My USB ports also does not work on Hardy. MY Flash drive, mass storage
and Kensington optical mouse no longer works. Having them plugged in on
boot up or plugging them in after boot does nothing
