I have some documents originating from Microsoft Word, with embedded
subsetted fonts. These fonts are not rendered (leaving blank areas) in
evince. The program prints several messages on stderr, indicating a
problem with fonts:
some font thing failed
Error: failed to load tru
This bug may have to do with the use of old-style proxies vs. rfc
proxies. If I use 'grid-proxy-init -old' I'm getting the mentioned
error; if I use an RFC proxy it works fine.

shows the log. I have one hfs+ partition mounted on my MacBook 2.1. The

I'm getting this behaviour as well on Karmic, on a Macbook2,1.
I've not configured the device in xorg.conf and I'm not aware that I had
to do anything special to get it working.
The following steps show the problem:
$ synclient -s -l | grep TapButton
