Well I gave up using network manager ;( ... i forced the mtu in the
/etc/network/interfaces and been using pon to establish my vpn
connection through a terminal. Been working well.
Sadly i havent much time to put all back using network manager :(

I d like to use NetworkManager for its vpn handy capacities. But I need
to set the mtu of the interfaces to 1492. And here is the problem. If I
