The proposed solution is not working for me. My analog-output-

I needed to run gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.screensaver embedded-
keyboard-enabled false to make the onscreen keyboard stop showing up

I was listening to Rhythmbox at the same time that Grooveshark was open
in a Firefox tab and the sound came out very distorted and muffled. When
I close the Firefox tab the sound starts working again. This happens
reliably.

The latest update causes sound to play through both connected speakers /
headphones and the internal speaker. No amount of playing with the gnome
sound control tool causes the sound to come out of only one device.
Playing with alsamixer, I came up with a setting that works. I
I am still seeing this bug in Precise. Volume is either very loud or
very quiet. Please let me know what information I can provide to remove
the incomplete status.
