#purge old drivers fglrx
sudo apt-get remove --purge xorg-driver-fglrx fglrx*
#install new drivers
sudo apt-get install --reinstall libgl1-mesa-glx libgl1-mesa-dri
fglrx-modaliases
#reconfigure xorg
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserv
