With system monitor running, I got a nasty surprise. The system locked up when
CPU1 hit 100%. This required a power down reboot after about 30 minutes of no
response. The screens (3) were still displaying but the mouse keyboard were
frozen.
I 5s powerred down and rebooted (
Happens for me repeatably, shortly after log in. BTRFS filesystems.

Note that sr_RS was fixed upstream (the locale.py table updated) in
http://bugs.python.org/issue8374 and http://bugs.python.org/issue6668.
It was not backported to 2.6 because the update changes other existing
locale information.
It is worth reading the comments in issue8374 about getdefaultlocale

I don't think issue 2522 has anything to do with the reported problem.
That issue dealt with someone calling locale.format in an inappropriate
way, and the fix disallows the inappropriate call. The call in the
traceback is appropriate, so the fix from 2522 should not affect the
code having the pro
This is not a bug in python. It is most likely a bug in /bin/true,
crashing when called with argc set to 0. As noted in the upstream
tracker, the fix applied to python is likely to break currently working
python code.
