Here's an unbiased usability test I just did.
I asked my non-techy girlfriend to navigate the tree view (unpatched)
using only the keyboard. She tried all the arrow keys then get
frustrated, started trying: ctrl+right, shift+right, ctrl+down,
shift+down, enter, alt+right, ctrl+shift+down, etc.

This is an issue for me too. I don't recall any other framework (at
least that I've used) using +/- keys for collapse/expand. It's always
left/right arrow keys, which regardless of tradition or incumbency, I
feel is the most practical and usable.

NVC0 family: These cards are generally working with the latest kernel
and Mesa but may still have power management issues. It is recommended

If you have an Nvidia GTX 560 here are the only options you (don't) have to
rotate a single monitor.
1) Nvidia drivers, separate X screens, rotate one with randr <-- doesn't work
because of this bug
2) Nvidia drivers, xinerama <-- composite disabled, can only run Unity 2d

So, booting off a USB of the 12.04 beta 1 image, it simply fails to load with
my new graphics card (GTX 560). What happens is that both my monitors are
completely blank; one is off completely, the other is on but the whole screen
