I keep getting the error while trying to run the Update Manager

I used Network Tools & Network Connections. Neither of them saves WEP Keys.
What should I be using? Please keep in mind that its been many years since I
used Linux. The last Linux I used was Red Hat 5 something.

Every time I boot my netbook I have to load my WEP Key to get on to my
wireless network. Is there a way save it so this doesn't happen?
