I have realized that nozomi matches this line:
KERNEL!="tty*", GOTO="nm_modem_probe_end"
and replaced with:
KERNEL!="noz*", GOTO="nm_modem_probe_end"
but it didn't work. (I rebooted of course). Any other idea?

Network manager is still failing in my case:
I have a pcmcia card using "nozomi" driver. The driver creates /dev/noz#
from 0 to 3 interfaces.
I tried to patch 77-nm-probe-modem-capabilities.rules without any
success. Can someone please give me an hint?

This card used to work with intrepid and jaunty until two days ago.
After upgrade to network-manager 0.7.1~rc3.1.git4cf2da146 is no more detected
in network manager.
