I am asking myself, if it is even necessary to cool down the MiniPCI
(the second sensor) to below 48°C. Right now "cat
/proc/acpi/ibm/thermal" gives me values like these:
"temperatures: 35 47 -128 35 -128 -128 -128 -128 44 41 ... "
The actual hddtemp (smart) is around 38°C.

I don't know, if this is actually a bug, but if you install sdlmame from
the repos in karmic, the sound won't work. The package "libsdl1.2debian-
pulseaudio" needs to be installed, too. Since pulseaudio is Ubuntu's
default sound-subsystem,
As gdb told me, that there is no "stack" and "the program has no

The same here for me: I am experiencing this bugs since a few days but
wasn't sure, if it is a karmic or a pebkac-problem.
The verbose-output does not print out any usefull data:

I had a similar error: gtkmozembed hung the whole application, when accessing
certain sites with flash-animations.
After almost a day, the following line found to be absolute incompatible with
gtkmozembed and flash:
gtk.gdk.threads_init()
Seems to be a threading problem: This line was
