I have the same issue. After upgrading from 13.10 to 14.04, it seems
that I get random disconnects from the wireless connection. Here is a
dmesg snippet that I see after every disconnection:

Hello. I have the same problem "lo: Disabled Privacy Extensions" and
I've noticed that it happens when I activate my pppoe connection.
