Hello, I am trying to print a PDF file via wireless lexmark printer,
using Evince. The printer is properly configured as other apps such as
Firefox can print to it, it's powered on, and set as the default.
However, Evince does not seem to recognize CUPS printers as when I open

xdg-desktop-icon doesn't use localized name for Desktop fo
I recently noticed this problem on fresh Ubuntu 10.10 install with
openjdk-6
I did some source lookup and it seeems that javaws uses xdg-desktop-icon
util for shortcut creation.
I believe this problem is caused by bug in this util. I reported it as
#664099

javaws always use Desktop directory

But xdg-desktop-icon ignores this settings and always uses ~/Desktop
folder while installing shortcuts

Happens with some videos on Hardy with 'inter' driver. It sometimes crashes
when playing the video, sometimes after I close the video.
The files attached are after crash that happened about 5 minutes after I played
and closed the bug.avi. With xv output driver.
Note: In 7.10 it worked ok.

camorama or camstream. if does't work try code modification.

I think that is not problem with drivers. Upgrading to gutsy Xgl is
enbled by default. You use 9200 and there is no need for Xgl because
9200 work fine with open source drivers. (Driver "ati"). Try this:
