Similar behavior happens here with Karmic alpha 5 amd64. The show "Nice"
column setting is not persistent. It works but once you quit the system
monitor, when you open it again the Nice column is not shown anymore and
you have to activate it again in the preferences.

is this still a problem in current karmic gwibber (or in current gwibber.daily?)

I agree and I see another problem. I can only connect by dynamic IP

it does not even try to connect. I've a WPA wi-fi network.

KDE Network Manager in Intrepid is a huge step backwards!

I've tried Hardy and the last Intrepid with this chipset. Hardy only works
attaching a lot of parameters in the kernel starting line and yet if you try to
restart X or just switching to another terminal (Ctrl+Alt+F*) the screen hangs
just the same as the Erwin Michel picture. But I could correct
OK, now I've installed the GetDeb Twitux 0.62 package and it's awesome.
Thanks a lot!

Binary package hint: twitux
I tried several times twitux with both gutsy and hardy, but one bug is
annoying: all posts are shown as "466 months ago", ever. I tried to
ugrade it to 0.61-2 from Debian sid package, but no progress in this
issue.
** Affects: twitux (Ubuntu)
I'm using Hardy fully dist-updated and the bug still persists: gnome-

I think it's a good idea, giving options to the hard user.

The same here, with Gutsy amd64 live desktop CD daily build of 20070813.
The system has 2GB RAM, 200GB SATA2 HD, and I tried:

I'm sorry. I thought that those files collected by apport would be

distro, since they are needed to debug?
Well... I'll try to reproduce the bug again with this hints, thanks...

Public bug reported:
I did compile and run the VMware kernel modules from the source (there's
no module package for the latest kernel), OK, than I installed the
vmplayer deb package by apt. Later:
$ vmplayer
/usr/lib/vmware/bin/vmplayer: /usr/lib/vmware/lib/libpng12.so.0/libpng12.so.0:
no versio
I had same simple problem: there is not VMware modules for the recent
kernel in the Ubuntu repository yet, so we have to build it manually.
But the vmplayer doesn't start, because of another problems... other bug
report.
