Why do you try to parse the text return of the command ?
You have to use the return code for this :
* $? -eq 0 : OK, nginx running
* $? -ne 0 : NOK, nginx not running
Parsing the text return is completely non-sense and will give you tons
of headches everytime there's a change in the init

We are preparing a 1.1.17 package for Nginx which may be uploaded in
Debian Unstable tomorrow.
We also plan to fix the 0.7.67 release (Debian Stable) in the next days.
For the other versions, I may try to apply the patch and propose the
source packages, but if somebody has time to apply the

When the SVN will be up, we should prepare the 1.1.14 package, upload it

This package was barely good enough to go in gutsy, but with this issue,
I had to add a COPYING.libpfs file in the upstream tarball to respect
the licence of libpfs, which is included in qtpfsgui.
