Actually, I just got sick of checking the "dont notify me about this any
more box" in the notifier since I filed when it WAS a problem but it
just wont go away, even when I tell it to repeatedly.

Do a google for "xorg mouse problem" search pattern "past week" This
isnt just an Ubuntu problem, it's platform wide. Looks like somebody did
a booboo in the xorg that's currently smiting the Linux world. Fedora,

Same here, I dont use hibernate and from clean boot (cycle power) The
system overheats. I've lifted both laptops with yahtzi dice and run
deskfans under each to keep cool, and I just boot into windows if I have
to go portable. with the deskfans on and proc set to perf i never hit
