Its a logical contradiction, mate.
If you choose to have encrypted folder, you want security.
If you want autologin, you dont give a s**t about security.

are not registered. For example, the Conexant cxx remote, found on the
very popular Winfast tv tuners. I attached the lirc.fdi file as it was

Could you please check the patch to include this string also:

or, better:
"cx88 IR"
And what about pushing this lirc version to intrepid backports ?
Thank you

Same problem here, even after deleting .ecryptfs .Private and Private folders.
After reboot, Private is not automounted.
Doubleclicking on that long softlink found in Private doesnt do anything.
Executing mount.ecryptfs_private in terminal returns: required key not found.

really want to mention that gnome-lirc-properties is always crashing and cant
be run. I don't know if it is related to this bug, but anyways, ...

lirc based applications can not get exclusive access to /dev/i
I can confirm this behaviour, as I found this error in syslog.

it is behaving like a crippled keyboard in xorg (only digits and enter
working). If I stop xorg and gdm, its working perfectly, as I tested
with irexec and irw.
