Same problem here, using Kubuntu 24.04 on a fresh install (with Xorg).
Intermittent flickering of the whole screen; I could not determine a
specific pattern that caused it. Happened several times per day, usually
briefly but sometimes for several seconds.

I just noticed that when I try to alt-tab to a window that's blinking in
the window list and that is on another workspace, nothing happens,
despite the fact that the window is included in the list. I assume this
is another side effect of the patch?

I tried with the following players:
- Rhythmbox
- Banshee
- Exaile
- Quod libet
It works in none of them. Interestingly, if "Notification on song
change" is enabled, a libnotify bubble with the information is displayed
correctly, the tooltip is still empty though.

Comix registers mimetypes for cbz/cbr/cbt files and contains a MimeType

I see the same error; conctacs appear in the contacts list, but not when
sending mail, and autocomplete doesn't work either. This only seems to
be happening for my private adressbook, automatic contacs appear to stay
in sync.
