I just noticed this conflicts with the gitview installed by the package
git, for the GNU Interactive Tools. This issue will need resolution.

Binary package hint: git-core
The file gitview, which is a Python executable script, should be

In Edgy Eft, you need to also remove the file /usr/share/omf/sanduhr
/sanduhr-de.omf.
Or better yet
mv /usr/share/omf/sanduhr/sanduhr-de.omf /usr/share/omf/sanduhr/sanduhr-C.omf
Then you should be able to remove this package.

Public bug reported:
In Edgy Eft (Ubuntu 6.10) python-xlib has a dependency on python2.5, but
python2.4 is the default Python for Edgy. Could this be remedied,
perhaps with a rollback? Dapper's python-xlib package, which depends on
python2.4 installs well on Edgy.

I too am experiencing this bug. No text displays for the applet of
either CPU0 or CPU1 unless I go into preferences and select "Show CPU
frequency as percentage". At that point, I can switch it back.
Also, when loading as only graphic mode, CPU0 appears a few pixels lower
on the taskbar than CPU1.
Still getting between one to three prompts, here. Haven't seen any
updates to this package in Dapper.

I'm experiencing this bug with network-manager 0.6.2, but it occurs
immediately after login after booting the computer fresh (i.e., not from
suspend or hibernate). Unless I can quickly fill in the first keyring
login request, network-manager will pop up up to two more keyring login
requests.
