To my post earlier, my machine type is: 2842-F7U. All of the bugs here
affect my notebook, such as the mute button not working in 10.10, the
brightness indicator being asynchronus to the actual brightness, and
headphone autosense not working.

Hello All,
I was having the same issue, but I wanted to let you all know how I fixed it. I
hope that this will fix your issue as well. I had a defective USB hub plugged
into my computer, which caused Ubuntu to display the "unable to enumerate"
error. You all might want to check for defective USB
