I repro'd a case w/o reload but it didn't generate a crash dump (or

Systemd appears to crash often on Azure v6 arm64 VM sizes during initial
(provisioning) boot. I caught the crash on my first attempt to repro on
Standard_D2pds_v6 with canonical:ubuntu-24_04-lts:server-arm64:latest.

Looks good from an Azure perspective with ~250K+ VM creates, mostly

We've been investigating a similar issue in Ubuntu 20.04 (and now 22.04)
on Azure where Running PPS re-use fails to perform DHCP for 5 minutes
when dhclient is invoked by cloud-init. dhclient is run by cloud-init,
but sees no DHCPOFFER. It varies due to unknown reasons but it has
affected a ~0.3-
The change to use sys.base_prefix has caused a regression in at least
one python snap (Charmcraft). The effect of this change caused core20
python snaps to now revert to using '/usr' base_prefix when looking for

For example:

FWIW, I'm running 20.04 and it appears to affect other snaps too (e.g.
irccloud).

I built the kernel from master-next a week ago that included the fix
