I've got the same problem. nvidia-384 was installed (using Software
Updater, Settings, Additional Drivers) while booting the partition
native (mbr). Natively, all works fine using nvidia-384 but this problem

I tried contacting http://avahi.org on 28 Jul 2015 and have had no
official response yet, and their webpage registering system is not
working, so I cannot raise a ticket. However, a user on their mailing
list has responded that there are people listening on the mailing list

Good work! I was also able to connect and logout multiple times after
restarting xrdp (sudo service xrdp restart).
All the processes end properly and the rdp window closes.
Now if we can just figure out what is different after restarting xrdp
compared to how it is after system boot..

I've done some more testing of Super key shortcuts using shortcuts from

I have tested metacity 1:2.34.13-0ubuntu4.1 and while the s key now
works correctly (no longer opens the Applications menu), the Super

Would someone please explain what the problem is in simple terms?
I thought it was that Unity in Ubuntu 14.04 requires 3D acceleration but if so,
why does Unity work when run in VirtualBox without 3D acceleration, and also
when run in a VMware VM in a vSphere console?

While the problem doesn't show on trusty, I still think it is a bug that should

1) The share was not mounted after I did 'killall -USR1 mountall'
2) After I killed mount.ntfs pid, the nfs file system was still not mounted,
although /media/Passport2 (ntfs) was no longer mounted.

sleeps for 30 seconds, then mounts any unmounted nsf file systems.
