Skype icon comes after kill the skype process and restart it, in my
natty x64. But postpone start (sleep a few seconds before launch skype)
doesn't work for me.
Seems lots of people using skype, hope fix this issue soon, though now
its MS skype.

Yes, this bug affects me too. It happened several times, most of during view
the flash video with firefox.
My laptop also is T60, with fresh installed lucid. And the first log entry is:

In my Karmic, flicker happens when open a mail window and move mouse over tool
bar.
Thunderbird 2.0.0.23, Nvidia 190.42 driver, with Compiz enabled.

Seems no hope of fixing this issue in short term.
My experience, 169.04 from Nvidia is the best one for Hardy.
Hardy's own driver or 177 will get titlebar or compiz problem. I just tried the
180.06, which cannot support my dual monitors with separated screens (different
resolutions).
BTW, I hav
