In Lucid I had dual monitor setup with my Dell D610 laptop connected to Dock
station.
I've had DVI(1280x1024)+LVDS(1440x1050) running good - big desktop stretched
along 2 monitors.
After upgrade to Maverick same setup behaves weird. In Preferences-

When it works:
1. We have a laptop completely turned off. First we plug-in external monitor
and then we turn it on.
2. Boot and try to get EDID - it works.
How to make it fail:
3. Suspend my laptop. And unplug external monitor.
4. Wake it up. Adju
get-edid, ddcprobe can't get EDID. But not always, there are times when
they can, but can't figure out what are the circumstances. Tried on
another monitor (Samsung 192P) couldn't get EDID too. But as I said my
ViewSonic works and shows EDID on Windows (as I have dual boot config).

Found some interesting facts:
1. When I go home I'm doing suspend and then unplug my USB keyboard and USB
mouse.
2. When I'm at home I plug in just my USB mouse and wake up my laptop in
kern.log I have:
