are three possible login entries in the session menu accessible via cog
to the left of the login button. Set option to "system default" instead
of "gnome or classic" , extensions should now stay enabled after reboot.

I would like to confirm this as a bug as I have experienced the same
problem on every version of gnome-shell 3.10 I have tried on ubuntu-
GNOME, with anywhere from one to all three ( staging/testing/next) ppa
enabled.
