I'm running Ubuntu 13.04 and I don't have a
/usr/lib/libbfd-2.23.1-system.so on my system. I have a
/usr/lib/libbfd-2.23.2-system.so, so I ran:
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libbfd-2.23.2-system.so
/usr/lib/libbfd-2.23-system.so
and now grive is working again.

I'm using the latest version of the gnome-online-accounts package, and
i'm experiencing this issue.
$ apt-cache policy gnome-online-accounts
gnome-online-accounts:

Starting the gui mode from terminal vim makes the global menu appear
correctly. So one possible workaround is to alias "gvim" to "vim -c
:gui".
