I'm actually still using this laptop, on WiFi, and it regularly stays up
for a fortnight between minor kernel updates, so I think we can
confidently say this bug is fixed for me, on Jammy.

The solution is indeed to install the qt5-default package.
Maybe this package could be added as a dependency in newer releases?
There is also perhaps an upstream bug where qtchooser could try the
"other" qt version if one fails. (I had installed qdbus5, and qtchooser

Hi,
I have managed to get more details by taking a video of the bootup with
boot_delay=2000. The first few lines are typed out below:

I was unable to get more of the backtrace. Can anyone advise me how to
get grub to make a higher-resolution text console for the kernel? I may
try a netconsole, but I think the panic happens so early that nothing
will show up. Any other ideas welcome.
