A bit of an update on this. On a whim I disabled the compositor. The
issue has gone away with the compositor disabled.

Thanks for looking into this!
Hopefully we can figure out what's causing it. It's easy to workaround
but highly annoying.

Public bug reported:
I have a fresh install of Ubuntu Studio 22.04. Proprietary nvidia
drivers 510.60.02. The screen will sometimes get fuzzy. It's not
constant and doing things like typing or moving the mouse will cause it
to become un-fuzzy briefly.
Logging out of my X session and logging back
Tested the proposed version and can validate it now successfully
switches from ALSA to FFADO.
Thanks!

Public bug reported:
Choosing the drop-down to switch the FireWire module from ALSA to FFADO
doesn't appear to actually do anything.
No blacklist-studio.conf file ever gets created in /etc/modprobe.d.

Public bug reported:
In the LV2 location in my home directory .lv2 I have the following
plugin:
➜ ls ~/.lv2
librnnoise_lv2.so
${HOME}/.lv2 is configured in Carla as a search path.
In the Add Plugin dialog for Carla if I search for noise nothing shows
up.
This worked fine previously on 21.10.
I have an Echo AudioFire 4 and am experiencing the same issues.
