Died on 3rd save this time. I ran it in terminal and it outputted the
following:

Same for me with Gimp 2.6.12. Usually the 2nd file save crashes.

VPN causes slow network connections

Just wanted to say thanks. I disabled DPMS, added a ServerFlags section
as mentioned above and rebooted. I can now resume from suspend without a
problem.
For reference, my system info:
