I can confirm this as well. I was having sound issues so pressed ctrl- alt-backspace and logged in again. Upon login the screen was blank with the background color and a lighter orange box in the upper left. I am on Hardy Beta. Can get more info if needed. -- compiz.real crashed with signal 7
