Attached is a screenshot of the bug. I tried Inox's suggestion (Right
click panel -> properties -> align left -> align right-> align top)
This restored the missing "power" icon in the right side of the panel.
The network manager icon, however, is still gone

Binary package hint: gnome-panel
This happens at random times including when i have just logged in after
turning on computer. Can't find a way to reproduce it apart from
rebooting my computer over and over. Screenshots are attached in a
tar.gz file
