now only logs to /var/log/syslog. The rsyslog.d file has disappeared
completely, and its no longer logging to /var/log/haproxy.log. Is that
the intended outcome from this? Or should it be logging to just
/var/log/haproxy.log

Juju 1.25.5 and it seems to be failing due to a possible multipath
issue. The node is setup in maas with a default single partition. The

2) Configure it to listen on at least one port, even just the stats port

This latest set of apport data is from logging into a unity session
after todays upgrades - I get a working x session, but no dash,
launcher, hud etc starts up. If I start any application from the
console displaying to :0 it does start up as expected.

I've only been able to get Unity running intermittantly using the Intel
x server, and not at all with radeon / fglrx.
I can consistantly get a running X server using the Intel drivers, but
even with opengl I get:

I now have a working unity session going, using a combination of:
sudo apt-get install --reinstall libgl1-mesa-dri libgl1-mesa-glx
sudo update-alternatives --config x86_64-linux-gnu_gl_conf
dconf reset -f /org/compiz/
I'll see if I can get fglrx or radeon working by making sure the GL
modules ar

the machine it asks me if I want to start a failsafe X session to see if
I can debug the issue. All the logs required should be attached,
I'm running the latest I believe at this point:
$ dpkg-query -W xserver-xorg-video-intel

I'll let you know if I have any more crashes.

Occasionally I have X lock and I need to restart X to get back in.
Unfortunately I haven't yet found a way to reliably reproduce the issue,
but hopefully the logs may shed some light on whats going on. Please
let me know if you need any more information or specific testing do

If you are using a bare word dns domain (.test for example), facter fqdn
returns the incorrect information. Since there's no . in the domain,
the checks fall back to parsing /etc/resolv.conf, which may not be
correct.
$ hostname
eagle
$ dnsdomainname
test
$ facter fqdn
eagl
This appears to have been fixed after upgrading to Essex, so we can
close off this bug.
