I can hardly believe that only a few people are affected by this bug.
I'm seeing it myself on 3 different systems, 2 desktops and 1 laptop.
Taking in consideration the fact that this was reported almost 2 years
ago, shouldn't the importance be changed? I mean, I think that not being
able to manage
Same identical problem in Kubuntu 9.10 x64 version.
Why is this bug still marked as incomplete? Should be confirmed by now.

Tested with Karmic Alpha 5, same problem.
The connection is working, I have network connectivity. The plasma
applet in the tray shows it as "Auto eth0 - Active", driver "forcedeth".
But if I right-click on the same icon in the tray, and choose "Manage
Connections..." I get nothing. The wired conn

I have set up a new Kubuntu 9.04 install. I have network connectivity
with a wired network card integrated into an Asus M2NPV-VM mainboard,
but I cannot see or configure this connection.
If I enter System Settings -> Network Settings -> Network Management
tab, I see no wired
After I installed debug symbols and run firefox with gdb I couldn't
reproduce the bug anymore. Each time I started firefox with it, it
worked just fine, no bugs. As soon I started firefox again normally it
crashed like before.

As I already said, this happens in Firefox Safe Mode too, in the same
way. And in safe mode all extensions are disabled (I double-checked that
to be sure).
